So...the camping season is officially upon us here in Alberta and around the rest of the country with Victoria Day weekend kicking it off this weekend. And, as has been the case for the past two years and now this year included - almost a total fire-ban right around the province!?! What's camping without a fire at night right? Oh well...just means we have to drink more.
Allie and I, Morgan, Nolan, Char, Jason and the kids, Mike and Vicki, along with two of my work colleagues and their families are all off to Long Lake Provincial Park (about 160kms & 2hrs north of Edmonton) for the weekend. Weather is supposed to play fair so at least we won't be stuck inside.
Looking forward to the deck work starting next week and Pete, you'll be in the thick of it when you arrive. The plan would be that you and I would be finishing off bits and pieces but things have fallen behind by a week and we'll be helping with the main build right in the middle! So make sure you're ready for it.
James must be looking forward to his Grad and we're all looking forward to Mum & Dad arriving in June too. A busy summer coming up and lots of fun!
